Birthday Treat - Saigon Village Restaurant @ Jalan Imbi

ADD: No. 45, Jalan Barat, Off Jalan Imbi 55100 KL
Tel: 03-2142 6296

I had a nice dinner treat together with a couple of close friends/ colleagues last Friday at Saigon Village Restaurant near Jalan Imbi at the heart of KL.

It's tucked away in a corner and has a rather unassuming facade, so it's easy to miss out this restaurant. I've seen it a couple of time when I travelled down to Imbi market for breakfast but it never occur to me to give it try since the outside looks rather plain and unattractive. LOL!

I always had a thing for Vietnamese FOOD, since it looks healthy to me with ample of vegetables served and the dishes seem less oily too. But nevertheless, I had a great time catching up with everyone again.

THANK you for the wonderful dinner and being stucked in bad traffic just to get here. :)

My Birthday Dinner - Senses, KL Hilton...

Address: Hilton Kuala Lumpur, No.3 Jalan Stesen Sentral50470, WP Kuala Lumpur

Last week I had a wonderful dinner celebration at Senses Restaurant in Hilton hotel near KL Sentral. Senses is located on the Mezzanine floor, known as one of the best fine dining places that serves up Modern Australian Cuisine.

Delicious creations ingeniously prepared by Chef Michael Elfwing, guided by Master Chef Cheong Liew, voted one of the world’s hottest top 10 chefs alive.

Well to be frank I'm not that well versed in fine dining but once a blue moon indulgence on expensive food for a special day is a reason to enjoy yourself! LOL! :P

23 going 24!

This year has pass extremely quickly and without realizing it will be end of the year again. :)

In the past you get all excited anticipating for your big day and get so enthusiastic for turning a year older. But as time goes by, you begin to dread the number getting bigger and bigger every single year. Well you can’t deny the fact that you’re a year older so I might as well receive it with pride.

This is also officially my third year in the working industry and having been exposed to so many things; no longer this little spoilt girl who buy things without thinking twice. You have work commitments, paying for your own meals and stuff for personal use; wanting to save money for rainy days.

Well I believe everyone comes a long way towards a journey of self discovery. You change; your life changes and practically everything around you changes and you social friends get more each year as you cross your paths with one another. This year has been a total roller coaster ride, travelled ample of places around the world and having someone special to walk this path with you, family and friends who cared so much – that’s the beauty of life.

Ok I’m officially joining the club of 24 now and thinking back only brings wonderful memories. I still stand strong to my motto – Living life to the fullest! :)

Everyday we worked hard and getting so exhausted from time devoted at work, hence we must enjoy life and be grateful of things that you have as I too believe everything always happen for a reason.

TIME for CELEBRATION! :)

Food Lover enjoying life to the fullest! :)
